Thanks to funding from the Professional Outreach Programs in the State (POPS) and support from the State Office of Education, the SWAP Committee has devised poster sets based on the SMA permanent collection. Each poster has on the back of it biographical information about the artist, information about the artwork, and connections to the State Core. These posters are based on images that are part of the State Core Curriculum. Check your State Core requirements for the grade level you teach to see which posters are most applicable to your class. The posters have been divided into Elementary, Middle, and High School sets.
Poster set pricing
Individual Posters - $5 (special teacher rate)
Elementary Set of 24 posters - $100
Middle School Set of 9 posters- $30
High School Set of 12 posters - $40
Full Education Poster Set - $150 (includes all 45 posters)
Poster sets have been distributed to many schools within the state; check your school’s media center or library to see if your school has a poster set. Full sets are available for purchase. Additionally, postcards have been created after the poster sets. These are available for $2.50.
